Holiday Bowl because it would take an
act of Congress to convince the bowl committees to
ignore the Fighting Irish. Don't blame Norte Dame. Blame the
sordid and unfair bowl fiefdoms whose decisions "based on how much money a team can generate, not on whether a team deserves an invitation based on football merit." College football deserves "an impartial college football playoff selection committee along the lines of the one that sets the brackets for the NCAA Tournament in basketball. ... No team's fan base, television ratings or aura would be part of the selection process. Not even Notre Dame's."
